A little setup, a lot of moments. Here’s exactly how your internal beta invitation works.
For selected testers · You don’t pay for access
Accept your team invitation.
Apple sends an App Store Connect invitation to the email you gave us. Open it, accept, and sign in with your Apple Account. Look for the team name Itslux LLC.
Check spam or junk. Team invitations expire after 3 days; ask us for a fresh one if needed.
We connect you to the beta.
After you accept, we add you to the Moments internal testing group. You don’t need to create a project, change app settings, or buy a developer membership.
The next email arrives after our team completes this step. A gap between emails is normal.
Open your Moments invitation.
Look for a TestFlight invitation for Moments (by lux). Open it on the iPhone you want to use and follow the link to view the beta.
This is a different email from your team invitation. Check the same inbox and spam folder.
Install TestFlight, then Moments.
TestFlight is Apple’s free app for trying beta apps. Install it from the App Store first. Return to your invitation, accept the beta, and tap Install next to Moments.
Already have TestFlight? Go straight to the invitation. Your iPhone must meet the iOS requirement shown there.
Open Moments. Make it yours.
Create your own Moments account, or sign in if you already have one. Your Moments account is separate from your Apple Account; an invitation doesn’t create it for you.
Try it with your people. Tell us what feels good, what’s confusing, and anything that breaks.
A few things that help.
I only received one email.
Accept the App Store Connect invitation first. We then add you to the beta and Apple sends the TestFlight invitation. The second step needs our team, so it may not happen immediately.
The invitation expired or I can’t find it.
Check spam and search for App Store Connect, Itslux LLC, or TestFlight. Team invitations expire after 3 days. Email us for a resend; you don’t need another application.
Why does Apple say “Marketing”?
Apple requires a team role for internal testers. We use Marketing with access restricted to Moments. You’re here to test; you don’t need to edit anything in App Store Connect. It is a real team role with some app-management access, not a job offer.
Do I need a new Apple Account?
Use your personal Apple Account when accepting Apple’s invitation. A work or school Managed Apple Account may not work with TestFlight. If your application email and Apple Account email differ and you get stuck, tell us which step failed. Never send passwords or verification codes.
What happens when the public beta opens?
Once Apple approves external testing, we’ll share the simpler TestFlight link with eligible applicants according to their email preferences. We’ll coordinate the switch and remove temporary internal access when it’s no longer needed. External testing doesn’t require a developer-team role.
What should I send if I get stuck?
Tell us the step number, the email you applied with, and what the screen says. A screenshot helps—hide passwords, verification codes, and private messages.
